Chris Crum over at WebProNews has made note of a huge change in real-time search that many people apparently missed last week. Google announced via twitter on February 24th that Facebook status updates will be added to the Google realtime search results. Despite how many people follow Google on Twitter, this is the first buzz I have heard about this announcement. Maybe Google was trying to keep it under the radar a bit by not making a huge deal about it. Who knows. Either way we need to prepare for our Facebook pages to me much more exposed to Google.
This update is a perfect example of how important it is to have your SEO and Social Media strategies integrated. You can read Chris’ post at WebProNews or view Google’s official tweet about adding Facebook status to realtime search.

I downloaded the WordPress iPhone app the other day and just now tried it out. It is really simple and easy to use. The only thing that may confuse some folks is the fact that you have to enable remote posting for your blog.
Enabling remote access is really easy. Login to your blog and go to settings and then writing. Enable the appropriate option and save your settings. Once you’ve done this you can setup your app.
Overall this is a really good app that is pretty handy for any WP blogger with an iPhone.

I have recently had a few people ask me who I use as a hosting provider. I always answer enthusiastically with “asmallorange.com.” They have worked extremely hard over the past few years to improve and master their uptime and have the BEST technical support than any other host I have worked with.
Some hosting companies like justhost.com charge extra for faster support. AsmallOrange does NOT do that. You simply email them or submit a ticket with your issues and they respond almost immediately. They are truly fantastic.
AsmallOrange Pricing:
On top of having great support and uptime they also offer the best bang for your buck. With 75mbs of space you will have more than enough space to host numerous websites and parked domains or a drupal, wordpress, or joomla website easily installed with CPanel. Their Tiny package is only $25 per year and it is the best hosting deal currently available on the web.

Godaddy.com recently released an app for the iphone 3g and 3gs. If you are a person that likes to quickly check the availability of a domain name for an upcoming project then you will love this app.
If you are a current or new customer of Godaddy.com who wants to be able to manage all of account details from your iPhone then you will love this app too! I downloaded the Godaddy app a few nights ago and so far so good. Hats off to the Godaddy crew once again.
